SOS Group Opts for HR Access Outsourcing

04 June 2009

The SOS Group, a group made up of associations and businesses working to combat exclusion and support solidarity and the social economy, has chosen HR Access, the international human resources management software publisher and human resources outsourcing service provider, to implement an outsourced human resources information system.

The SOS Group's aim is to be able to rely on a partner with a well-established reputation, using its HR Access Employee Services solution to design, produce and deploy an HR information system combined with time-management software and a management and decision-making tool.

A group of associations and businesses created in 1984 to support social integration, the SOS Group works in the areas of health, social care, medical welfare, education, integration, housing, sustainable development and international solidarity. With over 2,700 staff, the SOS Group is made up of 150 organisations divided into nine associations to support its primary objective of combating all forms of exclusion.

In order to be able to concentrate exclusively on their projects, the associations have created an economic interest group, Alliance Gestion, that has enabled them to optimise management and resources by providing advice and management services in its different areas of competence (finance, accounting, human resources, legal, technical, organisational and partnerships).

Seen as a guardian of good administrative and financial order for all of its organisations, the SOS Group EIG is unusual insofar as it has to incorporate and manage 16 collective agreements, hence the necessity of implementing an HR solution that guarantees adherence to the standards in force.

"We needed to be confident that the solution we chose was capable of supporting our growth and evolving with us as our needs changed. We were also looking for a solution that could optimise HR management within the associations, in particular for performance reviews. Finally, the flexibility of the system offered by HR Access Employee Services, and in particular the reversibility option, was a key factor in our decision," says Eric Balmier, managing director of EIG Alliance Gestion.
