Aegis, a global outsourcing services company and part of the Essar Group, has announced that it has been ranked fifth amongst top business process outsourcing (BPO) players in the country in Nasscom's recent annual BPO ranking, a jump of three places over previous year's ranking. "The year 2010 should be considered as a 'return-to-growth' year with marginal increase in budgets and essential enterprise IT spending. We visualise a broadening of our role - one that entails greater collaboration across markets, sectors and within India," Som Mittal, president, NASSCOM said.
