Insigma-Cisco Cooperation Project and Establishment of Chengyun Technology in Hangzhou

On 9 September 2012, the signing ceremony for the Insigma-Cisco Cooperation Project and Establishment of Chengyun Technology (Hangzhou) was held in the Yellow Dragon Hotel in the city.

Mr. Gong Zheng, a member of the standing committee of Zhejiang province and executive vice governor of Zhejiang province, Mr. Jin Deshui, the deputy director of Zhejiang standing committee of NPC and secretary of the party committee of Zhejiang University, Mr. Shao Zhanwei, the deputy secretary of Hangzhou municipal party committee and Hangzhou's mayor, and Mr. Wim Elfrink, Cisco's chief globalisation officer and executive vice president, delivered speeches respectively.

Also attending the meeting were Ms. Tong Guili, vice mayor of Hangzhou and Mr. Zhang Junsheng, former secretary of the party committee of Zhejiang University.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Chen Xinhua, secretary of Hangzhou's Municipal Government.

With strong support from the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province and the Hangzhou Municipal Government, Insigma and Cisco aim to establish the next-generation 'Smart + Interconnected City' by integrating their resources and establishing a platform for technology and industry cooperation.
