Mindpearl Fiji Celebrates Second Birthday with Home Direct

Mindpearl Fiji's Home Direct team were very excited to celebrate their second birthday this month (on the 5th August, 2013) two years from taking their first live call for Home Direct.

The business partnership commenced just more than two years ago and has grown from success to success, with the team consistently achieving above average results.

Mindpearl's team provides customer service, sales and back office support for New Zealand retailer, Home Direct.

"We are tremendously proud of our Home Direct team and the results achieved to date. We are increasing in staff numbers and we are very excited about the journey ahead as Home Direct's partner of choice," says general manager of Mindpearl Fiji, Mark Mahoney.

In 2009 Mindpearl broke with convention and opened a state-of-the-art contact centre in the Fiji Islands.

Driven by demands in the outsourcing environment to offer a high-quality and low-cost English language alternative to those established offshore locations such as India and the Philippines, Suva - the capital of Fiji - was selected as the most desirable location.

Culturally, Fijians are known to the world as the friendliest people on Earth with the renowned 'Bula' spirit, and their dedication to 'make people happy' which is evident in their approach to customer service.

The Fijians are a non-confrontational people and this old school 'the customer is always right' ethos makes for a very warm and welcoming customer experience.
