Ioannis's area of practice is dispute resolution, whether through litigation, arbitration or mediation. He focuses on banking disputes, particularly involving financial products, investment banking and derivatives and on commercial and business disputes with an emphasis on joint venture and shareholders' disputes, and investigations and fraud.

Most of his cases involve an international element, usually competing multiple jurisdictions and laws. Ioannis's clients include banks, insurers, intermediaries, venture capitalists and equity investors and large corporates, both in England and internationally.
