Rod Fletcher

Rod Fletcher is head of fraud and regulatory investigations at Russell Jones & Walker and has been a partner since 1985.

He is a founding member and secretary of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers. He is also vice chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the International Bar Association and member of the London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association.

Rod has over 20 years' experience in all aspects of white collar / business crime including extradition proceedings, SFO, customs and excise, inland revenue, FSA and DTI investigations and prosecutions. He acted in the Maxwell, Barings and Butte Mining cases and he is currently acting in customs and excise investigations, money laundering prosecutions, and FSA and SFO investigations into investment fraud, price-fixing and international corruption.

He is a regular speaker on various legal topics, and is a contributing editor of the book Fraud: Law, Practice and procedure published by Lexis Nexis in December 2004.

He was appointed a Recorder of the Crown Court in 2003.
