In addition to building an established fraud practice in her own right, Shula worked alongside Rod Fletcher defending a senior manager accused of gross negligence manslaughter arising from the Hatfield train derailment and more recently in relation to the SFO pharmaceutical cartel case, Operation Holbein, which collapsed at the end of 2008. She is the chairman of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association and has lectured and written articles on fraud and corporate manslaughter and health and safety.
