Michael J. Arenth joined Ariba in June 2002 and currently serves as vice president and general manager of Ariba's European operations covering sales and marketing, consulting, HR, and finance and accounting.

Mr Arenth previously served as vice president of consulting for Ariba Europe. Prior to moving to Europe in January of 2005, Mr Arenth was managing director of Ariba's strategy team in North America.

From 1998 through 2002, Mr Arenth was a senior manager with Andersen Business Consulting, a management consulting firm, where he advised firms on strategy, operations and finance transformation initiatives across a variety of industries.

Mr Arenth earned a BA in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA in Finance from The George Washington School of Business and Public Management.
