Aegis Recognised for Being the Biggest ICT Employer

Aegis, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider, part of the $20 billion by revenue Essar Group, today said that it has been felicitated by the Gujarat Electronics and Software Industries Association (GESIA), Gujarat's premier ICT trade association, for being the highest employment generator amongst non-Gujarat headquartered companies for the year 2011.

Aegis has proved its mettle for by winning this award for the third time. GESIA awards recognize the achievements made by Gujarat-based companies in the ICT industry. Screened by renowned experts and an impartial jury, these awards also recognize the valuable contributions made by non-Gujarat-based ICT companies having operations in Gujarat. These awards increase awareness about the ICT industry within Gujarat as well as on an all-India level.
