CDS Global Announces Enhanced Remote Deposit Capture Solution

CDS Global announced the launch of their enhanced Remote Deposit Capture solution, providing a flexible and secure environment for the capture of transaction data and the electronic deposit of funds.

With the enhancement, CDS Global clients now have the ability to choose from multiple scanner options, allowing them to select the device that best suits their unique needs.

Both small document and full page remittance sizes are supported, and because remote deposit capture transactions are processed in the same stream as transactions received at the lockbox, the solution provides a seamless experience.

The Remote Deposit Capture enhancement includes a suite of four machine options, as well as a setup process and interface that deploys the scanners quickly and effectively with accessible training and support for CDS Global clients. The solution enables organizations to install remote deposit capture equipment at their site, sending scanned remittance information directly to CDS Global's processing system - saving costly postal fees and float time associated with mailing batches to a central lockbox or processing documents internally.

"The launch of our enhanced Remote Deposit Capture solution provides a wonderful alternative for clients who receive high volumes of remittance in their local offices or those who simply prefer to manage mail opening and extraction in-house," said Dave Dutch, executive vice president of CDS Global.

"Whether our clients choose to process deposits from an event or from the local office, our multiple scanner options and seamless integration with traditional lockbox streams provide a cost-effective, accurate and secure solution to our clients' processing needs."

"We chose to pilot CDS Global's Remote Deposit Capture solution as an enhancement to our existing donation caging, capture and acknowledgement process," said Chip Sugrue, vice president of Customer Strategies / Affiliate Management Consultant for the American Heart Association.

"By installing and implementing remote deposit capture scanners, we have reduced our time to process by three to five days while reducing shipping costs. And while time is money, the biggest benefit is our ability to process and acknowledge gifts faster from our valued donors."
