Planon Forms Strategic Partnership with CA to Deliver End-to-End Sustainability Solutions Globally

Planon, the global leader in integrated workplace management solutions (IWMS), today announced the formation of a strategic partnership with CA, the leader in enterprise IT management. The partnership will provide customers with an end-to-end sustainability solution to proactively analyse, plan and act on sustainability performance from the entire real estate portfolio down to a single facility's asset.

Recent enterprise surveys show there is more than 20% hidden waste in physical resources and workforce time spent on workplace-related assets. In addition, buildings create an enormous ecological footprint by consuming more than 45% of commercial energy resources, according to the US Green Building Council. The partnership will address these challenges by giving organisations complete control of their sustainability programs across their real estate portfolio and provide the tools to analyse and act upon the data to reduce energy consumption.

Thanks to this partnership, organisations can act on environmental data to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, optimise space utilisation and effectively manage facilities assets to achieve substantial cost savings from sustainability initiatives. Additionally, the partnership allows CA customers to track LEED and BREEAM certification through the Planon system.

"We are pleased to have been selected by CA to extend their ecoSoftware solution inside the building and help organisations achieve their real estate sustainability objectives and cut costs," said Pierre Guelen, founder and CEO of the Planon Group. "This partnership further validates Planon's position as the dominant player in the global IWMS marketplace and demonstrates Planon's commitment to helping organisations cut costs and achieve their sustainability goals."
