Christine Mallin

Professor Chris Mallin is director of the MSc Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility, and director of the Centre for Corporate Governance Research, Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham.

Before joining academia she qualified as a chartered accountant working for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell (now KPMG) and Binder Hamlyn (now part of Deloitte). She was a director of the Aston Reinvestment Trust from 2000-2006, and chair of its Audit and Risk Committee from 2004-2006.

She has published widely on corporate governance issues in both the academic and business press and her book Corporate Governance published by Oxford University Press is recognised as a leading text in the area. She is also the editor of Corporate Governance: An International Review, the leading international corporate governance journal published by Blackwell.
